TVS Motor has demonstrated a long-term structural expansion since the late 2000s. Following a sharp decline during the global financial crisis period, the stock formed a structural low and began a sustained upward trajectory.

From the early 2010s onward, price behaviour transitioned into a strong impulsive expansion phase. This advance was supported by improving business performance, expanding market share in the two-wheeler segment, and steady earnings growth.

Throughout this period, the stock has experienced periodic cyclical corrections and consolidations, but the broader structural trend has remained upward. The current price behaviour appears to represent consolidation within this longer-term expansion rather than a structural breakdown.
